Soap Box:
I believe gender, as the original split (read: sin) in humanity, is the root of all other divisions. Race, class, religious, political divisions are rooted in the first mistake - in the division and assignment of different (read: hierarchical) social value to men and women. The future will see a human re-unification that allows men to be "feminine" and women to be "masculine" without sexuality having a thing to do with it. There are two simultaneous steps (aka a leap) that must happen. Men must come to grips with the fallacy of male supremacy and the way this myth has limited our evolution as humans. And women must realize that who they are is great enough... great enough to lead; great enough to live free.
